Don't Get Me Killed, Andrea Accardo!

The silence in the room was eerie and Georgia, who couldn't condone the two being that close, suddenly reprimanded Andrea.

"It was really bad of you to jump down your room's window. Now, there are numerous reporters outside the house, and your father is also pretty worried."

Andrea naturally had a sloppy appearance and her eyes always looked conceding. As soon as she heard Georgia, she disengaged from the hug, much to the displeasure of Ryker.

He glanced at Georgia with darkened eyes, but the woman misinterpreted his displeasure to be directed at Andrea because he just recalled what happened a few hours ago.

Andrea had always had a weak body system and as a result, she'd stay in bed all day; Asleep or either staring up at the ceiling blankly since she had no energy to get up.

It worsened after she gave birth. Regardless of this, Valerie had made it her sole aim to belittle Andrea because of this, always reminding her of her one flaw.

Andrea remembered Valerie advising her to take a certain drug that would strengthen her. It'd even give her the energy to jump down from her window. Andrea had been so stupid that she believed Valerie.

Ryker had been so worried that he offered to break off the contract term and she foolishly accepted, unknown to her, Valerie had convinced their father to let her be Ryker's consigliera but got rejected by Ryker.

Then the deep love she had for Ryker suddenly became a deep sense of hatred.

Andrea felt her body weakening, just like it had always done, and settled for the staircase.

"Get up right now, Andrea!" Georgia shouted, glancing at Ryker, who had a deep frown on his face. Assuming that he was upset about her action, she instantly apologized to him, "Please, forgive her. Things like this can't be helped."

Ryker didn't answer her. Instead, he sat right beside Andrea and felt her temperature to see it had risen. "Do you feel dizzy?"

"I always feel dizzy." Andrea chuckled, glancing at him.

Without another word, the man straightened her up and took her into her arms but before he could walk away with her, Valerie offered, "Andrea, what do you say, should I stay back and take care of you just like I've always done whenever you're sick?"

"I won't want to stress you, Valerie. Besides, Ryker isn't complaining and even if he is, we have housemaids all over the house." Andrea replied, earning a satisfied smile from Ryker.

However, she failed to notice it as she was once again plunged into memory lane. She recalled the way Valerie would offer to stay with her, but would secretly leave her room in the middle of the night to seduce Ryker.

And when her love for Ryker turned to hatred, she would use the medium to steal information from Ryker's office and sometimes, she'd be the one giving Valerie the information.

She snapped back to reality to see Ryker looking at her worriedly while she lay on the bed. When he caught her looking, he raised his brows slightly and asked, "Are you okay?"

Andrea nodded, but the doubt in the man's eyes reflected in his eyes. The two stayed silent for several minutes before she suddenly recalled something.

"You said something about the termination letter."

[Just like he thought she was being so nice for a reason!] The man thought and looked away. He refused to answer her as he got up and walked out of the room with a gloomy face.

Andrea glanced at his lonely back, dumbstruck, wondering what she did wrong. She only wanted to tell him not to worry anymore!

She felt something in her pocket vibrate and reached into it to see what it was. She took out her phone and turned it on to see it was a message from a group chat and someone had tagged her.

The group chat had a total of 121 messages and the talk centered around her, the girl who tried to commit murder just a few hours ago.

She traced the discussion back to an account no one knew who its holder was, but she knew it was Valerie. It was one of the many things Valerie had attested to doing.

Valerie had done so many terrible things to her in her past life. Now, her sole aim was to make Valerie's life a living hell, so she decided to beat Valerie at her own game.

She got off her bed and sat in front of her computer. She created an anonymous account and requested to join the group chat.

After the request got accepted, she logged off and erased the data. Then picked up her phone again to send a message with her official account.

The group blew up as soon as she did and she turned off her data immediately, uninterested in whatever they had to say.

"Is this the part where I get to clean up after you've messed up?" Someone asked from the door and Andrea's head snapped towards it.

Hayden Winters! A man who was the closest to Ryker and his underboss. In her last life, Hayden had hated her more than anything in his life.

Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do about her, since Ryker was determined to protect her. He stood by Ryker no matter what, and that was a quality she admired so much.

However, when he learned her stepmother and Valerie had been using her the whole time, they quickly bonded, but Georgia soon killed him off because he was protecting her.

Recalling his last moment, she suddenly burst into tears, startling the man. Hayden, who only knew how to make decisions concerning the mafia and killing people, was at a loss for what to do.

He looked around and when he saw no one; he stepped into her room, confused at what he had done wrong.

"I know you hate me but you do realize Ryker would kill me if he finds out I did something to make you cry?... okay stop. Andrea Accardo, please stop!" He begged, pissed off at the same time.

Suddenly, she raised her head and jumped into his arms, startling him again. He had no idea how long he stood there in a daze before he heard someone clear his throat harshly behind him.
