It was quite chilly, and I rubbed on my arms, trying to draw some warmth, as I doubled my pace towards the forest.

The sun would set soon, and then nightfall. It was yet another time to try reaching out to my wolf. After my escape from the Wolf call pack, it seemed as if she had disappeared.

Worse still, Kaden was acting like everything was fine. Like I couldn't see Kathy's advances at him, during dinner. Like I couldn't tell he was hiding what had happened at the Wolf call pack.

And no one was willing to tell me. I felt alone, just like my past life at Redwood pack.

I soon got to my favorite spot, and decided against going naked. For one, I wasn't exactly alone, and someone could interrupt at any time.
