CHAPTER FIFTY FIVE

"This can't be it," she muttered, flipping through the pages. "There has to be more than just this one war between werewolves and witches."

The book was totally empty, the pages were blank, she kept flipping till the end and everything was void.

Nuella looked disappointed too. "It doesn't say much, but at least it isn't nothing."

Claude nodded, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. This book was supposed to be the key to unlocking her past life, but it only seemed to raise more questions.

She flipped through the rest of the pages again, hoping to find some clue or hint that might help her understand her last life. But they were all blank, every last one of them.

"This is new information altogether," Claude muttered, her disappointment growing. "One that doesn't help me understand who Vladimir was or what he wanted from me or why I was the only one who could recognize Tasha."

"Maybe everything that's happening to you is caused by witches," Nuella suggested.
