Chapter 29_ Change Is Constant

Lucien has been in bed for the past three days, he woke up with pain all over his body. "Water" he whispered, but there was nobody besides him, Only he was in his humongous chamber.

With all the strength left in him and with shaky legs, he moves to the side of his bed as he struggles to get on his feet, he winces from the sharp pain in his groin, but he ignored it, all he wants now is water. He had been extremely thirsty and had since not drunk any water for days.

Luckily for Lucian, he saw a jar of water on his bed counter.

His dry throat rejoices as he immediately dawns a cup in one gulp. He rang the bell and his servant came running into his chamber, he got up and took his bath after which he got dressed and went to his study. He had thought that Dylan would be by his side when he woke up, he was disturbed when he asked and was told that Dylan didn't come around to see him.
