Chapter 89_A Call From Dad

Arianna had a sour throat at night, she started coughing dryly.

She always turn off her light before sleeping, so it took her a lot of effort before she was able to locate the switch.

After turning it on, she found her phone and headed downstairs.

she was just a walk away from the kitchen when her phone started ringing.

"unknown number," she stared at her screen deliberating whether to pick up the phone or not.

it rang for the third time, she decided it had to be urgent for the caller to have continued calling that way so she picked it up.

"Arianna," she heard the familiar cold voice of her father.

Arianna stood cold feet, she couldn't move and did not talk either.

"Come home," he said to her warmly.

the change of tone, his voice, and his words made her move the phone from her ear and disconnected the call immediately.

"Who the hell was that," she soliloquize.

her father Mr. Rogue would never call her even when that person sounded like her father, she's not taking any chances.
