Haunting Past

Declan woke up feeling heavy and sad, today was that day when he feels awful about living. He had pulled down the curtains, letting the darkness overwhelm him. His thoughts jumbled, he could see the scene clearly like it was just a few minutes ago.

Fear gripped him, goosebumps rose on his arms. Declan tried to steady his breath, but nothing was working. He could hear Liam's voice taunting him.

That day had been the very day Declan's peace of mind had gone far from him. Liam had always been blunt about his dislike for Declan's work habit. It was easy for no one to take note, since Liam was thoughtful enough to keep his thoughts to himself only when they are in an enclosed space. And mostly because Elizabeth would always come to his defense.

Declan had been too loose and spent money whichever way he wanted. He had been exposed to too much, as a result of the leverage granted unto him by his mother. Liam pretended to be unaware until he found out Declan had been forging his
