Thinking murder

Kira's POV

It's been two days since we returned from the crescent pack and discovered the chilling secrets of our fathers. Xander seems to be much more disappointed because his father was a major culprit. Somehow, I can't seem to dispute the fact that Leila's father had acted beastly while growing up. She looks just like him.

The past days have rolled past like a soccer ball on the field, I hardly ever get out of bed unless I intend to pee, and I haven't been eating well too. I reached out for my phone to check the screen if I missed any calls or had any unread message.

I had ten missed calls from Declan and only one message was from Carl, nothing came from Xander. I have been meaning to talk to him, but he obviously doesn't want to talk. Even when I called Miguel to ask if Xander had been to the bar. I was told he hadn't since we returned. Unfortunately, there is no way I can get to see him without getting caught.
