Chapter 15 Voice

Esme remained silent as she held her head and glanced at the ceilings around her. Who is it that she is supposed to talk to? Her dad or someone else?

_Church!

Suddenly, she got to her feet. Is it trying to tell her that she should go to the church?

"All I can do is investigate it further." Esme hurriedly reached for her coat and shoes before leaving the house. Since the end of mass is approaching, there is a good chance that she is the only person still in the church. However, it is not a problem because it makes her job less difficult.

"Esme, where are you planning on going?"

"Church". Esme answered, she didn't stop walking.

"Church?". Leah is aware that Esme is not a religious person; therefore, she is unsure what Esme plans to do while they are at the church together.

"I'll be back in a little while!"

Leah gave Esme, who was sprinting, a head shake as she watched her go by.
