The guards came back a few hours later and told me that the Empress will be meeting with me tomorrow morning. He also told me that the Empress would like to know about the progress of the cure. I thanked the guard for relaying the message and he excused himself.
It has been half a day already since the antibiotics were administered and I have yet to receive any alarming news so that must mean that it’s effective. The stress from the recent events have finally left my body and now I feel relaxed. I slumped down on the table and I let out a sigh of relief.
