I won't spare you

    * Chapter 2: I won't spare you

    "I... Henry..hen.."

" Are you so in love with him that you are thinking about him when you're with me? "

His rough, angry voice echoed in her room as the sound made by the bed because of their activity became louder. The pain and immense pleasure forced her eyes open. They found the man on top of her and froze.

It could not be. Could it?

She was in her ex-husband's bedroom. How was that possible? Didn't he die along with her in that cold and dirty basement?

She blinked the tears out of her eyes, and asked in a doubtful tone " Aiden?"

"Yeah" Aiden responded as he slowed down, his grey-colored eyes met her caramel ones. She glanced over his well-chiseled jawline and his tousled golden brown hair. A spark-like electricity went through her spine just like the first day met.

She was confused. Isn't he dead?

Was this a dream or a memory?

"Aiden Scott?" She jerked up and questioned.

"The one and only. Who do you think is making love to you?" His voice grew hard, and he added pressure to punish his little wife. Thrusting in and out until she was about to breathe. His fingers gripped her face softly, and his voice was angry and hoarse. "Can he make you feel this good?"

She grinned widely. Only her husband could carry such confidence.

"No, O-only you," she countered after a loud moan. Her arms fastened firmly around his neck as he continued. Tears welled her eyes, and she sobbed into his neck.

It all made sense. She had been reborn. Today she had made a plan to see Henry the next day and decided to please Henry so he would let her go out alone. It was only supposed to be a kiss, but it blossomed into something more.

Her sobs grew louder, and she held him tighter, breathing in his pinewood smell. She moved her hands over his broad back, peeking at the cross tattoo there. It was him. More tears ran down her eyes.

Upon feeling her tears drop from his back, Aiden stopped, glanced up, and asked, "Why are you crying? Should I stop?"

Instantly, a smile made a way to get lips; she crashed their lips together and whispered lovingly, "No. No... don't. They are tears of happiness. ''

Although stunned by her actions, Aiden continued the entire night until she passed out from exhaustion.

The next day, the pour of the midday sun penetrated through the curtains and reflected on the couple entwined on the bed. Aiden had been awake for hours, watching his wife in bewilderment.

She kissed him yesterday at her own will after five years of marriage.

Should he be glad or worried?

His mind wandered to the already-signed divorce papers, which she hid in the cupboard.

    Was yesterday a goodbye?

"Never!" He frowned deeply, gritting his teeth. This was his wife and the mother of his child. He would never let her go, no matter what.

Needless to say, he would know her true intentions soon. In their five years together, he could count the times they consummated their marriage with one hands. Every time she initiated, the next day she would ask for millions or a favor, and it all had to do with Henry Rowan. The pest had his wife's heart.

Thinking about this, his heart ached. Aiden decided to get up and roll out of bed. She knew where to find him.

Suddenly, soft, small hands grab his wrist from behind. "Where are you going to, Rodnaya?"

    Rodnaya?

It was a nickname he called her, which he has stopped using for over three years now. It meant ' beloved'. His heart turned sour; she was using the nickname.

Was today the day she would bring up the idea of getting a divorce after five years? On their fifth anniversary?

    He won't let her.

Pulling his hand away, he said, "To take a bath."

"Should I join?" she asked in enthusiasm, sitting up on the bed. What she did not realize was that all her assets, which were hidden under the sheets, were out for advertisement. Her long black hair was held in a messy bun. And Aiden could feel himself getting hard again.

"What?" he frowned to hide his inner desire. He was bigger than her temptation although he could never get enough of her.

What surprised him was she wanted another round after all the times they did it yesterday. The favor must be a lot.

At first, she grimaced at his behavior, then remembered how patient he was with her and spoke coquettishly, "Why not? It will save water."

Instantly, he recalled when she called another man's name in his bed. Anger rippled over his face, and he replied, "I am a multi-billionaire if you forgot. I can afford it."

This man was too hard to convince.

Not knowing what to do, she sent forth her arms and made a motion to call him back. Her voice was soft and melodic. "Baby, come back."

"No,'' Aiden snapped as he took his clothes out of the wardrobe. It was better to pretend to focus on clothes than on the tempting creature on his bed. Then he implored, bewildered,'' When have you been this clingy? What game are playing this time? What is the favor? "

"I am not playing games, I am just obsessed with my hubby. Since the day I realized how much of a catch you are," she responded right away, her smile infectious.

Seeing him this indifferent, Elsie's shoulders slumped. Was she that unattractive that he would rather pretend to be doing something unreasonable than look at her?

Was her marriage relationship that bad?

It made sense that she refused to associate with her son because he looked just like his dad. The man she hated the most for strapping her into this marriage. Probably why he is skeptical.

A contented laugh rumbled in his chest. Feigning indifférence, Aiden bickered in utter arrogance, "I have been telling you for years now."

It was true. Unfortunately, the last Elsie was dumb and preferred to hear what outsiders thought of her marriage and husband rather than how he was making her feel.

Still, he was not looking at her. It made her sad. Elsie slipped into her flip-flops by the bedside and marched to him. She stopped behind him, her throat tightening. "Sorry. I didn't take your word for it."

For some reason, Aiden believed her words were honest. He faced her, his brows furrowed. "Why?"

In remembrance of her previous foolishness, an empty chuckle escaped her lips. She began, unshed tears sparkling in her eyes. "I was dumb and young. I choose to listen to an outsider over my family. My father constantly cheated on my mother when they were married, which led to the depression that killed her. I grew up alone, thinking all men were the same and refusing to believe you were so different. Forgive me, Aiden, my love. Give me a chance to spend my whole life making it up to you and Eldon.''

"Please, Rodnaya, say something." She begged him, crying into her palms. Only she hoped that she was not too late to make things better.

Taking a step forward, he cradled her face in his hand, his thumb resting just in front of her ear, and curled his finger gently around her head. The tips of his fingers were entwined lightly in the strands of her hair. His voice was soothing: " I forgive you. I never held any grudges; you only have to make it up to our son."

In their years together, Aiden could not hate her, no matter how hard he tried. He fell for her truly and deeply, yet he only wished she accepted his love and treated their son differently. It was little Eldon who was suffering the most, for he believed his mother hated him. However, he did not believe at all. He only wanted make her stop crying.

"Dad, Dad. Open the door." A young voice clamored, slamming on the door, shattering the silence between the couples.

Upon hearing his voice, Elsie's heart leaped for joy. She had not heard his voice in ten years. She only saw him through photos when he turned fifteen. In the basement, she regretted every night why she left her precious son. Now, her son was a boy again, and she would not miss his growth for the world.

Wiping the corner of her eyes, her lips cracked into a grin as she looked up at her husband. "Thank you. Go and take your bath; let me open the door."

He stared at her with a complicated expression and retorted, "Let me."

She stopped and asked. Her face trembled, revealing her fear. Did he not want her to see Eldon?

"You're naked, rodnaya," he said bluntly, stifling a smile from creating on his lips. His little bunny had no idea how difficult it was to keep a straight conversation with her in no clothes when all he wanted to do was pull her back to bed.

Immediately, her gaze strayed down to her chest, red spreading on her cheeks. Without thinking, she slung both arms over her chest and ran into the bathroom.

Watching her leave, Aiden buttoned his lips, doubt evident in his eyes. He sighed, "I don't know which game you are playing now, Elsie, but don't hurt my son in the process. For that, I won't spare you."

In the bathroom, Elsie sank as she listened to this. She knew she could never convince him this fast anyway. Despite this, she smiled at the thought of God giving her another chance to undo her wrongs.

He opened the door, and a mini version of him came running in. Little Eldon screamed, "Dad, Dad!"
