When Levian entered the master bedroom, Ron was already there- waiting for him.

“Good morning, boss,” he greeted him with a bit of a surprised look. He opened his mouth but shut it again in hesitation and reluctance.

He looked as if he wanted to say something.

Levian noticed it and cocked his brows as he tried to read the expression on the man.

“Anything you want to say?” Levian asked as he undid the knot on his robe.

“N-nothing sir,” Ron answered in a hurry, swallowing down everything that he had wanted to say. When he came here early in the morning, he panicked a bit when he did not see him on the bed.

Worse, when he touched the mattress and quilt, he found them ice cold- as if their owner had not touched them at all the night before.

His boss was a disciplined man with a fixed lifestyle and habits.

‘Where did he go to sleep if not here?’ Ron wanted to contact him and if worse came to worst, mobilize the entire force to search for him.
