The Enemy Turf

With the coat still hanging in his hand, Levian watched with a complicated expression as the gate closed.

For the first time ever in his life, he was at a loss for words with a certain someone.

“Good night,” Sherry managed to speak in one breath before closing the gate right at his face.

When the gate was almost closed, Sherry turned around and peeked at the man on the road.

He had not moved from his place- the coat still hung in his hands, lightly swaying in the cold wind. Her sight fell on his well-defined face that was illuminated by the street lamps.

“Shit!” She remembered what she had done in the heat of the moment a few minutes ago. She could still feel the gentle touch of her lips on his! The taste was still lingering in her memory- fresh and sweet.

The gate shut with a loud sound- clearly representing her flustered state.
