*FLASHBACK*

“Sure Ma I’ll follow you to church” I said forcing a fake smile when Mrs Bale asked after I woke up to her standing over me and her son in bed

“Stop it with the Ma stuff, you can call me mom or Tracy, afterall I’m going to be your mother in law” She said and exited the room

Chris stood there looking in bewilderment not understanding what just happened, he rolled his eyes at the door as if his mom was still standing there before saying to me

“I don’t trust her, be careful, remember she must believe it’s a love marriage”

“Don’t worry, I can handle myself” I say to him and kiss him before getting out of bed to get ready for church that sunday

Chris offered to go with us but his mom declined accusing him of not wanting her to spend some time with me, in her own words he was a block between her and her precious daughter in-law bonding

The church service was actually great, I enjoyed the songs and hymns from the choir and the preacher gave a very good sermon on forgiven
