The fragile trust

Megan watched Alpha, who remained silent. That was not what the witch expected.

- Are you not going to say anything? - She asked, annoyance evident in her voice.

- I am not sure what you expect me to say. -Katherine replied, and the fury rose in Megan's chest. This she-wolf was impossible.

- I am here. - The witch hissed.

- I am fully aware of that. - Alpha replied, and Megan almost gritted her teeth.

- What else do you want me to do? Fall on my knees?

- There is no need for that. We could start with you telling me what your decision is. Then, we will take it from there. - Alpha said calmly, and embarrassment washed all over the witch. She could feel her cheeks burn like someone would set them on fire. Megan wanted to say something, but at this moment, nothing coherent was coming to her mind. She just stood looking at the woman before her.

- It is fine. We all have been there. - Alpha said with a smile.

- Where? - Megan asked immediately. What the hell was wrong with her today
