When Love Meets the Mated

Two hours later, Ghino stepped inside his room with a heavy heart as if the entire world had befallen into his face. I'm not even sure if he already noticed my presence inside his room.

"Nathan?" Ghino muttered in a surprised tone as if he forgot our conversation earlier while I stayed in his apartment.

"Is everything all right, Ghino? What happened?" I slid closer and grabbed his backpack and the white long folder from his hand.

Then I assisted him to grab his seat on the bed when his entire body stiffened from his spot the second he appeared.

"I did not make it, Nathan." He said back.

"You did not make it in what exactly?" I retorted in confusion. As soon as Ghino was seated on the bed, I grabbed mine next to him. The scene has seemed to be a long story.
