Chapter 66 The Bomb

Loraine's Pov

I paused for a second, but I didn't look back at him. I picked up my plate and went to the kitchen, not answering his question.

I thought that he would leave right away, but well, Aaron is Aaron. He is as stubborn as a mule and won't stop until he gets what he wants.

While I was washing the dishes, I felt his presence behind me, or more like he was leaning on the wall while looking at my back—watching me do the dishes.

“You haven't answered my question,” he calmly said.

“I thought you said that you would give me time to think it over. Why are you here now? ” I answered back while still doing the dishes, didn't flinch nor pause at his question.

Strangely enough, I felt calm. There were no ripples in my heart when talking to him earlier, when I was too overwhelmed by my feelings.

As expected, food can solve all of our problems.

“I was about to, but I happened to see the two of you being lovey-dovey with each other,” he coldly said, while sneering.
