I really think that I’ve gotten hold of some kind of trippy herbs or something. I’m in the Underworld, with Hades and Persephone, and we went to the Greek paradise to find Odysseus. The hero of the Greeks in the Trojan War. Supposedly one of the smartest men of his time.

I mean, wouldn’t you think that you were on some kind of acid trip?

“Why do we need Odysseus?” I ask.

“He and Dante are the only two mortals who have ever gone to Tartarus and made it out. And Dante isn’t much of a fighter. Odysseus will help keep you safe while guiding you to where you need to go,” the Lord of the Dead says.

“Come! We must hurry!” Persephone says again.

Odysseus nods, grabbing a walking stick from just inside his door. “I am ready.”

“I can transport you to the edge of the Asphodel Fields. That is where you’ll find the entrance to Tartarus,” Lord Hades tells us. “Good luck, heroes. For all of our sakes, I hope that you make it.”
