I asked Seth to drop me off at the Orphanage/Day Care because I wanted to meet Mikey’s adoptive parents.

I wanted to make sure that they were good people and that Mikey will be in good hands.

I also told Seth how I felt and all my regrets about not being able to adopt Mikey. When I asked him what would his answer be if I asked him if we could adopt Mikey, he said that he would have said yes.

I start to fold Mikey’s cute clothes and place them neatly on the small baby bag that Nikki had provided. She said that she had something to take care of for the party that they will be preparing for us later in the afternoon so she can’t be here this morning which made her happy when she found out that I was willing to help her out.

She said that Mikey’s adoptive parents might drop by later and that I should call her once they arrive.

“You’re preparing Mikey’s stuff?” Lea asked, one of Nikki’s assistants.

“Yes,” I replied, “Nikki said that Mikey’s adoptive parents might come today.”
