Of all the times an attack can take place it has to be now. I don't know if the moon goddess hated me or something but lately, I got the feeling that she does.

Seth and I hurriedly went out and met with Jericho and the others.

“Alpha,” Jericho said, the moment that he saw Seth.

“What happened?” Seth asks.

“We don't really know how it started,” Jericho replied, “But one thing we know is that there is a lot of them.”

I saw Seth’s grandfather approaching us, stopping once and a while to talk to someone who approached him. Behind him were Seth's grandfather and Nathaniel.

“We have a safe place for our women and pups but we need someone who can assist them and guard them while our warriors focus on the intruders.”

“I’ll do it!” I said. I watch as Seth looks at me with surprise. And wasn't just him. Even his friends were surprised.

‘I thought you wanted to fight with me?’ Seth asks through the mind link that he opened.

‘I may not be there physically with you, but I am fighting with you.
