Chapter 26

Vincenzo entered the mansion with Lily clinging onto him. It was late at night and something seemed off. One of the guards at the main door was missing. He slowly made his way into the house and met Dante waiting patiently for him.

Dante stood up as he saw Vince entering, carrying Lily in his arms, who, not to mention, was only wearing a coat. Vincenzo's coat. He smirked, knowing what could have happened. He then proceeded on going up to his room and gently placed Lily on the bed. He took off his coat from her body, leaving her only in her bra and underwear. Covering her with a quilt, he kissed her forehead as she continued to sleep like a baby.
