Dante's expression fell immediately when he saw a red laser light dot appear on Rose's forehead. She was obviously not aware of what was happening. As a reflex, he snaked his arm through her waist and pulled her away from the spot to his chest. Almost that instant a bullet went off and Rose screamed at the sudden fire. Lily was sitting alone in the living room, all bored, questioning her existence. Honestly she pondered over how tough life can become being a part of the mafia family. Dante entered the club and made his way straight to the office to see anything unusual. It was still day time so the club was empty. Nothing seemed out of place but the slight eeriness in the air gave it away. He knew something was off. He carefully roamed his eyes over the empty hall before finally making his way to the office desk. He saw everything was in place. It was then something caught his eye. One of the drawers was slightly open. Just enough to slip a few papers inside. It was odd because all of the drawers in the office were locked and Vincenzo had the keys to them.
