Chapter 16

The knocking was more aggressive this time. Shana slowly opened her eyes and saw that the person outside the door was not someone she knew.

"Open the fucking door." a woman shouted angrily

"Who is it?"

"It's Ms. Conny, your neighbor," said Ms. Conny angrily.

"Oh, Ms. Conny. What it is? " Dennis asked her sweetly.

"I know you two are newlywed. But can you please lower your voice when you guys are 'doing' that? " Ms. Conny complained, "Children are living in the building you know?"

"We're sorry, Ms. Conny," said Shana with a smile on her face.

Ms. Conny goes back to her house Dennis and Shana looked at each other. They burst into laughter. Their amusement soon died down and they remained silent staring at each other lovingly.
