Chapter Twenty Seven

Sunny’s POV

Running to the stairs, taking them two at a time to the third floor. Izzy needed me, I am the only one here other than her. She had left the bedroom door open which saved me some time. Opening the bathroom door I step in as her eyes flutter closed.

It all happens in what feels like slow motion. Her knees give out from under here, her body falling. My brain is too stunted to react because of my shock. Pepper shoves forward taking control of my body and catches her before her head can hit the tile.

Sparks flare up all over my skin where her body touches mine. I picked her up, and rushed to take her to her bed. I can hear her heartbeat so I know that she is alive. Her breathing is shallow, making me worry.

I pull my phone from my back pocket and dial Nick’s number. Normally I would just use the pack link, but he was too far away for it to work. It rings and goes to voicemail. I sent him a text with the numbers nine one one.
