Noah POV

She continues to panic as her eyes widen and trying to see if I was injured anywhere.

I immediately kiss her lips to keep her quiet when she wouldn’t stop panicking.

“ Relax Scarlet, we will go back home now.” I get on my feet and slip her into my arms, putting her arms across my neck.

She stares at me in shock as unspoken question swirl in her eyes. “ What happened?” She ask, finally coming back to her senses.

“ What happened to my dad?” She asks again.

“ Are you worried about him?” I raise my brow, as I stare at her pale face.

“ Yeah..” she sighs upon seeing the reaction on my face.

“ Forget about him, I’m worried about you.” I tell her as I walk out of the building, Scarlet in my arms. Holding and protecting her like an egg.

We see Mark tossing her dad into the boot of the car, he shuts it close and begin to wipe off his blood from his hands.
