Delilah's POV:

The next day, when I went down for breakfast, I saw Xee coming out of Katherine's room. He halted as he looked at me and our eyes met for a brief moment before I averted my gaze and strolled into the kitchen.

Isabella was preparing the breakfast and I asked her if she needed any help. She denied with a polite smile and I turned around to find Xee standing behind me.
