My heart stopped racing as I realized I had stepped into the green moss pack territory, uninvited and unannounced. The words of Azita resounded in my ears when he said they had killed his mother for unauthorized entering their pack and immediately, fear gripped me so much that my hands started to tremble in fear and nervousness. I walked slowly further into the woods, clenching my box tighter as my eyes darted around the surroundings to avoid trouble and most importantly, in case there was any sign of any wolf waiting to lunge at me. It wasn't up to a minute when I heard the sounds of paws running and lurking inside the darkness and I knew it was coming towards my direction. I didn't know the exact number of wolves running towards me but I knew it wasn't one. Fear surged through my spine as I contemplated running back to my pack. But my father would kill me before I could explain that I was being chased or threatened by some wolves. My heart thumped louder than before in my ears
Damon’s pov."We need more warriors at the borders." Christian was saying to me as we both sat at the watch station just close to the border. We were both on night duty along with the few other wolves. We truly did need more warriors to keep an eye over the pack because the ones we had retired and we were short of workers. Tomorrow was the beginning of a new training for the newly teenage male wolves who had just turned. "I know that, but for now let's make it two menna night. There's no threat from any pack and it would do no good if we are short out of the few warriors we have now." I said, looking down at the blue print of the pack that needed more protection. "The east border needs more warriors. We don't know the rogues that might stumble in from there, there's been one attack last week. I'll station three warriors there every round." Christian said and I nodded in agreement. I was about speaking when the sweet scent of vanilla and chocolate wafted through my nose. My ears p
I lifted the tiny girl in my arms and headed down to the pack house with the others trailing behind me. "Get the pack doctor now. And bring him to my room." I said in a hoarse tone as I ordered Christian who growled defiantly before bowing and leaving the woods in the direction of the pack doctor's house. "The rest of you, go back to your posts. I'll take her from here." I said, glancing down at the girl who rested innocently in my arms. I could barely feel her weight against my arm, she weighed close to nothing as I carried her in bridal style. Her long dark lashes lay against her rounded cheeks that were still tinted red from earlier. Her lips were dry and I wanted to run my tongue along them to wet it. I frowned at the thoughts that filled my head and I walked at a faster pace in the woods and into the pack house. It was already late and everyone had gone to sleep save for those watching the pack. The pack house was the most vulnerable place in the pack because of the little p
I opened my eyes to the sun reflecting against my face. I blinked rapidly feeling the heat of the sun warm against my skin and I adjusted my eyes to its brightness. A dark canopy stood above me and I gasped, springing out from the bed in shock. The memories of last night rushed in my head immediately, from crossing the border to being surrounded by wolves territory protectors and then Alpha Damon, his voice resonating in my ears, seeing him naked... almost... I blushed red to my ears. Then I remembered fainting from the blood loss, and then I felt his arms around me protecting me from splitting my head against the ground. That was all I could remember. I looked around the room I was currently in.It was huge and luxirous. The bed I had woken up in was a king sized bed with a black canopy above me. There was a huge reading desk adjoin with a chair by the left corner of the room and papers sat on it discarded. There were two doors to my right and I figured out one was for the bathro
"Is this how you treat your Luna? With disrespect and humiliation?" He asked, his voice thundering over them as they recoiled sharply, not wanting to get caught in his anger. "We thought she was a thief Alpha" A man spoke out and say as he glanced at Noir who gasped in shock before stepping into the center, as I shifted closer to Damon unconsciously. "I was the one who found her in your room. I thought she was a thief and brought her here." Noir said through gritted teeth. "No. You wanted to humiliate her because you found my scent on her." Damon said accusingly and Noir frowned looking away in guilt, her eyes glaring with anger and humiliation."I'm sorry Alpha." Noir said but there was no remorse in her tone, only underlying anger directly at me. "You should apologize to her." Damon said, pulling me from behind him. "Everyone of you should apologize to her." He said, pointing at them and then at me. Everyone else bowed respectfully to me mumbling an apology and I nodded shyly a
Damon's POV."Christian!" I yelled to my Beta who was in charge of the morning training to the newly turned wolves. The sun was blazing hot against my skin and I shielded my forehead from the sun. I saw Christian from a distance, his brown hair almost appearing gold under the sun. He saw me and quickly walked towards me bowing his head in courtesy as the young wolves headed out to train on their own. "Alpha what's wrong?" He asked, wiping his face with a tissue. "How are they doing?" I asked, nodding towards the young wolves who had returned back to punching the sack that had been stationed for them to learn how to throw a punch. Christian looked back at them with a sigh. "They have the stamina but nothing else, the she-wolves are not even trying. Many of them complained they would eventually end up being a mate and insist on leaving training for the males. The males only care about taking pictures and uploading on social media. It's been a long morning." Christian concluded, tu
Selene's POV.Evening came by quicker than I expected and I suddenly started to feel bored in Alpha Damon’s room.So I grab a book from the shelf and read the inscription on it. It was a Greek mythology book and I didn't hesitate to start reading it.Soon, a knock came hard on the door and I turned to it, dropping the book as I headed for the door."Who's it?" I asked, silently praying that it wasn't Noir. God knows I couldn't deal with her twice in a day. But instead, the voice sounded like an older woman behind the door."I'm Susan Miss, the housekeeper." She said as I heaved a sigh of relief and quickly opened up the door immediately. I unlocked the door, pulling it open to see an older woman with long darker hair with gray eyes. She gasped when she saw me as she walked into the room, then took my face in hers. I was surprised by her weird behavior but I said nothing as she looked me in the eye closely."You're so beautiful my dear." She said, rubbing both thumbs on my cheeks. "Y
It was seven on the dot when I stood nervously shaking outside my room door as I waited patiently to walk alongside Damon for dinner downstairs. I didn't want to meet his family alone and I wanted both of us to match out together. My blood rose hot as I felt fear danced through my spine as I looked down at my outfit for the tenth time. I was wearing a black V necked gown that reached my knee and hugged my figure perfectly well. A black wedge sandals wrapped around my feet tightly with my hair packed into a ponytail that swayed at my back in a smooth rhyme. The sound of Damon's door opening snapped me out of my thoughts as I turned to face him. He looked startled for a moment before a frowned appeared on his smooth cute face.He was wearing a whine shirt and a pair of dark jeans, black boots that hugged his feet perfectly. His hair was styled roughly and combed to the back of his head as he was looking dangerously attractive."What are you doing here? Go downstairs already." He said
