Riley's Pov

Mother was coming behind him, so I was worried she might have heard me. Seeing the expression on my face, Danny looked back and saw mother approaching us.

"Hello mother." he said when she was close enough.

She smiled. "Oh Danny, have you seen Darius? Went to his room and even his secret chamber, but he wasn't there. I want to speak with him as it's been a while since we spoke."

"Well mother, he went out of the palace? Did he go alone? Isn't that dangerous? His personal bodyguards are still in the palace."

"Well he went alone as he wasn't going far. He just went for a hunt in the forest."
