Riley's Pov

The next day.....

I went back to the Alpha's room, even when mother told me to keep staying in her room until I feel better, but that will only mean me inconveniencing her.

I feel better now. Really good. I was taken care of the alpha's mother and she instructed me not to do any work at all.

When I got to the room, Darius wasn't in. I went out to the balcony and closed the door leading to it. I sat in the floor and opened the mother I took from mother's room.

While flipping through it in mother's room, I saw a story that got me interested. The story about the humans.

I flipped to the page and settled to read it. I tried reading it hut there were words that were too hard to read and that made it uninteresting.

It only I went to school and know how to read, then I wouldn't be having a problem reading. I closed the book in disappointment.
