My survival instinct kicked up and I managed to stand up to run. I ran as fast as I could, forgetting the pain on my arm and leg. Behind me was a lone wolf, running after me to devour me.

Even my death will end up in the most pathetic way? How cruel.

"You can't do this to me universe. I did nothing wrong to you. My life mustn't end this way. Fine I get it. You hate me and made my entire life miserable but just you also make my death miserable? Do something." I cried as I kept running.

I saw a tall tree and decided to hid behind the tree, without been seen by the wolf, who continued running till he was out of sight.

He will surely come back if he doesn't see me. I know that certainly. I have to use this opportunity to hid and the only place I could think of was climbing the tree even though I know I have a high chance of getting caught. He is a werewolf. But then, if I hid there, I will be safe then.

I hurried climbed the tree until I got to the top. I sat down and
