Alpha Roland's Pov

In a state of confusion, I stared at Lucas. He was fixated on Mira while we conversed.

"You think you'll have her? That will only happen in your dreams!" I scoffed. The idea of letting her go with him was unimaginable. I was willing to fight for her, regardless of my status or who he was. It was frustrating to see him smile as if he had already won, knowing that he still needed my approval.

"Why are you giving me that look?" I asked, noticing his serious expression and grin. Maybe he could read my mind. If only he knew how much irritation and annoyance he had caused me with his presence, he would have left my pack without a word.

"I have every right to look at you. Understand that! You have something that belongs to me, and I need to make it clear that I won't let you have peace until you give her up," he replied.
