EMMA’S POV

“I saw the way she looked at me Luke.” Emma said as she turned the pasta over the gas. “I’m telling you she is upset with me and she still hates me.”

Luke walked up to Emma and wrapped an arm around her waist.

“You’re probably just imagining it.” He assured. “No Luke I know when I see something. And she was my best friend all my life. She hates me. The moment she saw me, I’m sure she would have killed me there and then.”

“It’s been a long time and I think you should really just give her a chance. She can’t be that bad.” He said.

“She can’t be that bad?” Emma asked in disbelief. “Are you having some sort of amnesia? She made sure no one in school spoke to me. She bullied me to the point that I had to leave.”

He sighed. “Yes I remember that. But that was a long time ago. Maybe she isn’t so bad after all. Plus she was nice to me.”

Emma scoffed. “Of course she was nice to you. After all you’re the reason why we fell apart.”

“No that’s not true.” Luke said.
