ASHELY’S POV

Ashley went on with her daily duties, utterly distraught at what had happened.

Marie? Dead? All because she had helped her . She had saved her own life and in turn she had been killed.

There was no way that Marie would have committed suicide and left her daughter alone.

She loved her too much for that.

It had to have been Luna Rachel or Mariana.

It was definitely one of them.

She sighed, her heart so heavy .

Lisa came up to her. “Are you okay?”

Ashley jumped and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

“Hey.” Ashley said.

“Where is your mind gone to?” Lisa asked bemused. “You look like someone who was traveling.”

“I’ve just been thinking if a few things. I’m sorry but I’m fine.” Ashley said.

Lisa shook her head. “It’s okay. You don’t need to apologize. It’s the extra work that has been placed on you. I’m telling you leave it for the other girls and I, we would cover it for you don’t worry. You look like you’ve seen a ghost. You just need to rest.”
