Scarlett POV

My heart raced in fear when I thought that Alpha Carlos might have sent his guard to get me because I walked out on him.

I quietly raced my gaze with my heart thumping in fear and I was stunned when my gaze fell on Phillips.

"What is he doing here by this time? Did the Alpha send him to come and get me?" my heart was still banging in my chest when I saw him.

I quickly stood up in fear and greeted him with a bow.

He asked If I was alright and why I was crying, I told him that I was thinking about my life.

He sat down beside me and I felt my heart pounding in my chest with butterflies fluttering in my tummy.

"What is this strange feeling in my heart?" I murmured in my head.

I shoved the strange feelings off as I looked at him, asking why he was there and if it was Alpha Carlos who sent him to call me.
