Sirena’s POV

I noticed a vampire in the pub, it’s my first time. His scent made me retch and I immediately walked to Xander.

“I told you not to wander off, you will meet those kinds of creatures,” he said.

“God! That smell, that’s sickening,” she said.

“Vampires feel the same way, when they smell us,” he said. I nod and left the bar. It’s quite captivating to listen to Xander. As he said, I enjoyed the evening after a long time. We came back to the mansion, the one strange thing that I noticed in the past two days was I never once felt lonely, even though we were miles away from the pack. I feel safe around him and I almost forgot everything that bothered me while I was in the pack.

Lulu is having a wonderful time, her constant bickering turned silent these days. She has started to love this travel and also Xander’s company. I don’t know how she starts to like him this soon. It’s all seem like a miracle to me. And the most surprising of all this is how I never once thought about Al
