Despite his previous failure I could see that my mate was determined to leave my side and I would have discouraged him a little more if I did not find it so entertaining.

Before he was the one that had all of the power. Whatever he said went and he never failed to use that power to run me down any chance that he got.

But now, unfortunately for him, the tables had turned. They were now mercilessly in my own favor.

I woke up the next morning feeling the side of the bed that my husband should have slept on was cold.

As soon as my fingers crossed the cold sheets; I immediately sat up with my eyes darting from one direction to another.

I found him sleeping on the love couch in our bed chamber, and I smiled as I walked over to him with my veil on.
