Chapter 50: GAME NIGHT

As soon as I head downstairs, Eric runs up the stairs to call Lachlan and Lena. I try to stop him but he barrels past me. A few minutes later all three of them are heading down the stairs. I look at Lena and she smiles down at me, I guess that whatever Lachlan had to tell her was good or he didn't get a chance because of Eric.

I walk up to her and put my arms around her shoulders and embrace her. "Are you ok?"

"Yea, I am." She tells me embracing me back.

“Strip poker time!” He failed to mention earlier it would be strip poker.

“Eric, come on, you always end up losing. So, what’s the point?” Lena whines, still stuck in my embrace. Thankfully, it gives me a moment to try to calm my situation down below.

We make our way to the dining area, settling around the table.“Eric thinks he’s the poker king after a few sessions with some poker hot-shots in Harlem,”
