Chapter 49Sarah's PovI watched Jake being carried away to his room after he spared me a sorrowful look. I couldn't care less what the King has done to him. How could he have killed the shifters that almost killed me without getting any information from them? I was so angry and wished we never had a thing together. I hated him for using me, pretending to love me but yet doing things that hurt my heart. I and Olivia turned to leave when a shifter came to where we stood to inform us that the Beta was calling for our attention. Alpha Dan had called a meeting in honor of Alpha Logan who had come to join the king in interrogating the rogues that were disturbing the peace of their packs.
