I didn't even bother grabbing a jacket to shield myself from the cold as I exited the room and searched for the way out. The house resounded with Sheen's angry outbursts as she accused her son of being gullible.

Enzo was giving it back to her for even entertaining the idea that we'd done something wrong. I didn't stick around, but I could hazard a guess that she'd probably dialed up Atticus and spilled whatever she had assumed.

But honestly, I couldn't care less!

I stepped out through the main door, and even the guards didn't bother to halt me. I reckon they were all eager to see me off. I now have this strange notion that I'm like a black widow - wherever I go, trouble seems to follow.

You know your Fl is an asshole . Most of her issues stems from her constant lies and misinformation. Why would it hurt for her to stop being so sarcastic and just always lead with the truth !!!
