Ruby's POV

As we sat down in the main room, I leaned over and whispered to Elena, my voice hushed with urgency, "Hey, Elena, it might not be the right time, but I really need to go."

Elena, with a kind smile, nodded her head in Vance's direction. "Ask him," she suggested. "He will show you."

Taking her advice, I rose from my seat, feeling the pressing need to relieve myself. I walked over to Vance, who seemed unmoved by my approach. "Could you please show me the way to the bathroom?" I asked politely.

Without uttering a word, Vance gestured with a tilt of his head, directing me down the hallway and to the left. Grateful for his silent guidance, I mumbled a quick thank you before making my way toward the restroom. I looked back at him and he was still unresponsive as though he didn't hear me speak. "Weirdo." I said under my breath
