Gonzalo's POV

I stepped into my cabin, weariness weighed me down like a heavy cloak. The day had been long and weird, and I could feel the fatigue settling into my bones. The air inside was thick with the scent of anticipation and uncertainty. It was a reminder of the challenges that lay ahead.

But as I inhaled, something felt off. A faint trace of another scent lingered, one that shouldn't have been there. My senses heightened, and I cautiously made my way through the cabin.

Pushing open the bedroom door, my eyes widened at the sight before me. Helene, my pack member, was on the bed, only half dressed. Surprise and irritation knitted my brows together.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I demanded, my tone sharp with irritation.

Helene stood up, a knowing smile playing on her lips as she approached me. "You look exhausted. I thought I might be of help," she said, her voice carrying a suggestive tone.
