Elena's POV.

"Look who's growing a big tummy," Darius teased as he walked into my room, beaming all smiles.

I pouted dramatically, rolling my eyes at him. "I'm offended."

Despite how hard I tried to put a smile on my face, there was a tiny voice at the back of my head reminding me of how soon everything would be out, Darius would discover that the child I was carrying belonged to Alpha Killian; the man that he despised with everything; the man that he was planning his death with utmost tempo.
