Elena's POV.

"She can't do that, they are mated together," Bonnie chirped in.

He snapped his head towards her, his gaze a blaring rage. "Stay out of this if you want your head still over your body."

He turned around to face me, the once sweet smile returning to his face. "What do you say love?"

"Darius... Please."

"You've got less than a minute to make up your mind, the key to his life now lies in your hands," he smiled.

I couldn't hold it in any longer, streams of tears rolled freely down my cheeks.

Darius had everything planned out already and I was caged in between. I couldn't let him kill Killian, neither do I want to leave with him.

I wanted to remain here with Killian, with his help, find our kids, and live happily forever, ruling over the pack as one big powerful family.

But that seemed to be a fairytale that would never make its way to reality.

If only Killian hadn't banished me and thrown me out into the awaiting arms of Darius, maybe we wouldn't be going through this.
