Chapter 2: He is a girl

"Alpha Todd, you know that is not a good way to..." He turned to Adrian, and for the first time he glared at Adrian, his supportive friend and big brother, Adrian had always been his friend he was always the one with whom he could pour out his heart and tell how bad he was feeling but this was different, he could explain the pain he felt in his heart, the pain that his mate is a fellow like him. "I understand that..."

"No, you don't fucking understand, you are not the one fated to a male, nor are you the one having a political marriage in a fortnight, it's bad enough that I don't have a wolf, not even a vampire blood in my vein and now this, fuck the goddess and her nonsensical matchmaking?" Todd snarl. "That ungrateful..."

"I think you are the one been ungrateful, rejecting a gift from the goddess." Ivan's words hit Todd's chest like a rock and his turn was deadly, he was going to freeze Ivan and make him an ice God for the rest of his life. Ivan whose sarcasm didn't make him see the handwriting on the wall that Todd was already spilling fire, parted his lips to voice out his worthless opinion. "maybe, you have forgotten that you don't have a wolf, and come to think of it, that fellow suit..." Todd pulled out his sword from its sheath and swung it at Ivan giving him a tear on his hand, his blood spurs out.

“Ouch” Ivan screamed

"Alpha Todd, what have you done?" Cameron and Adrian rushed to the bleeding Ivan that is holding his arms in pain. Todd didn't care, he returned his sword to the sheath, taking a step closer to Ivan.

"This is just a warning, you should know, we are no longer kids and I am your alpha, if you want to keep living, you should learn to bridle your tongue." He turned from Ivan and spat out. "bad luck." He cursed taking his horse by the rein, he jumped on his horse and he galloped along the street of Wild Gold Pack, as the sight of that fellow that the goddess had fated to him flashed through his eyes, he cursed. He could no longer see woods but a house, he was at the main pack. As his feet slapped the side of the horse angrily, it galloped faster, everything in Todd's system riled him and he hated the guts of that stupid Ivan who called himself his cousin.

Although he had no knowledge of what killed Ivan's father, he only knows that Ivan's father was the prince of the pack and had died before his birth and his father had treated Ivan more like a son than him, one time, he was punished because he hurt Ivan and definitely, this is not going to go unnoticed to his father, and even though he is going to be an alpha in a fortnight, his father is still going to punish him for his actions without even hearing him out.

He jumped off the horse, and as soon as he got to the castle, he tied the horse reins to the gate, as he locked the ranch, that sound of footsteps, that sound his step produced only meant one thing, that he was angry and could consume anyone that comes his way. He doesn't fucking care about any punishment that awaits him, Ivan is an offender and all offenders deserve punishment.

"Did you see what that bastard did to me?" Ivan growled as the pack physician fixed his injury.

"You should stop referring to your alpha as a bastard." Adrian corrected him.

"Oh please, he is not my alpha, as far as I am concerned, Uncle Rupert is still the alpha and till he resigns and I don't see Todd wearing the alpha crown he is nothing but just a warrior who possesses the power of magic and not an alpha, he is a mage," Ivan growled, Cameron whose back was rest lazily at the wall staring at him. "Go on, fire at me, you all should tell me, that I am the bad guy when I am not the one that fates a male as a mate to him, the goddess must detested his existence." His sarcasm could be felt from his voice, he is mocking Todd, yet acting like he did nothing.

"I don't see what is funny about that, he is fated to a male that doesn't mean that, he is cursed, and if you keep insisting that he is cursed, it only means maybe, you are the one that cast a spell on him, after all, you could used magic as well." Cameron turned from him, and as he banged the door behind him, Adrian glared at him.

"You are too old to bantered innocent soul, it's no longer funny." When Adrian dragged the door, Ivan had no idea that Adrian would turn, his evil grin was what Adrian saw, it was obvious that Ivan and Todd would be lifetime enemies, he only hoped that their fate would not end like that of their fathers, alpha Rupert, and prince Russell.

Adrian shut the door behind him as he made his way to look for Todd, he could understand his best friend slash cousin must be hurt. Todd was already leaving the castle when Adrian arrived.

"Are you going out?" He turned to the sound of the voice.

"Yes, I needed to cold my burning heart."

"You are going to the bar again," Adrian asked.

"Stop acting like a grumpy old man, loosen up a bit, sometimes you should ease your muscles with those women."

"Aren't you going to ask about Ivan?" Todd glared at him. "Sorry what about the fellow, aren't you going to check..."

"Adrian, you are getting me pissed today and I am hating the feelings I am getting from it, you are making me feel that you are here to annoy me this night." Adrian raised his hand in surrender, this time, he knew he needed to stop, Todd would not understand any words coming out of his mouth, maybe, he should wait until he had a clear head.

Todd and Adrian sit at the back of the car, as one of the omega drives them to the nearest bar in the pack.

Meanwhile, at the castle of alpha Shawn William of Blue Moon Pack, a fellow dressed in a man's wear, looking all unkempt stomped into the castle and one of the omega rushed towards him.

"Mr., who are you?" The omega asked as the sound of the door shut behind her, she was about to scream thinking that she was a thief. "Thief." She screamed, rushing to the door when he grabbed her.

"Will you stop Sheila, it's me, Princess Thalia." She threw the hood off her head as she dragged the hairpin that she had used to tie her hair in a bun, her curled moon shadow black hair flowing like the wave of the sea, as she took off her eye contact that carries the color black, now her Eden green eyes made her more outstanding, as she battered her long eyelashes, her flawless white skin came in full light, reflecting silver as she stand under the light.

"Princess Thalia, did you find what you went looking for?" The curious omega Shelia asked. Thalia turned and looked at her.

"No, I didn't but I found something else, something very fascinating."

"What was that, my lady?" Thalia sank herself into her bath water, which was prepared for her as she closed her eyes

"Like a male model yet he wasn't one. His lush, Teutonic-gold hair he groomed so carefully had a rippling quality, a sign of obsession with his look. Handsomeness is an understatement, His mariner-blue eyes were round and darted constantly, a-gleam with delight and the vigor of youth. They were soft, and alluring, shone brightly, like two sapphires dipped in milky pools. His aquiline nose complemented his prominent cheekbones, his basalt jaw and broad shoulders spoke of strength and grace."

"The way he carries his step, tells of a warrior than an Alpha, he is like a knight or should I say a mage? He possessed power and walked with purpose and authority." Thalia pushed her hand into her hair as she smiled

"His voice could be foghorn loud when he was mad but it was normally mellifluous. His style of clothes made him appear hot and sexy. That smell, his spicy aroma was appealing and swooning in the aisles." Thalia inhaled loudly.

"My lady, does it mean he is perfect?" Sheila asked, her eyes flew open.

"His only blemish was when he opened his mouth, his words are like a stabbing knife that pierces the heart and could only leave lifetime pain in one's heart." Thalia grabbed her towel, as she wiped herself.

"My lady, who could this male that you describe so perfect be? Is he your mate?"
