Chapter 40: Wild Imagination

"I am sorry," he murmured pressing kisses on her hair, inhaling her sweet scent, mixed with her blood. He curses as his tears fall on her hair, wetting it.

Thalia parted her lips with the intent of yelling at him and shooing him away from him, "Don't fucking touch me, with that filthy hands of yours." She had imagined saying that to him but when her words came out while sobbing, they were different.

"I am sorry too," she said, trying to move to see his face.

"For what?" He asked almost breathless, he would admit he was at fault not her, he was not going to blame her for this, he would have stopped her and prevented all this but he was hell-bent on proving his point that she should follow his rules.

But then he smirked knowing that for the first time, Thalia was accepting that she was at fault and that her action almost killed her.

This time, she managed to sit and stare into his eyes, biting her lips nervously, "for everything, for blaming you when you didn't remember anything."
