Chapter 64: Save at last

"They...they are here?"

"Who?" Thalia asked in fear, she was tired she didn't want any more trouble.

"Alpha king's men," she whispered grabbing Thalia's hand roughly and running out of the cottage.

The sound of a horse galloping closer was heard by Thalia and Jena, it's obvious they were close by.

"Not again..." Thalia murmured as she shut her eyes.

Jena pulled her along with her as they ran through the wood, it seemed Jena was pulling her along with her. Thalia didn't have enough strength to go on and Jena wasn't attempting to shift so Thalia rode her wolf. She understands that it's morning Thalia doesn't want to risk shifting into her wolf.

"Aw!" Thalia let out a sharp pain, Jena stopped and looked at her.

"Sorry, I am sorry but you have to endure a bit..." Jena was speaking softly to her, she just nodded but she knew that she wouldn't go far because her legs were hurting badly.
