Slap!

My mouth hung loose as I touched the prickling cheek which Max had slapped. I wasn’t used to this type of assault, and felt so humiliated. With teary eyes, I looked back at my Alpha. He had this smug look on his face, so deep, so marred, he might attack me sooner or later.
