68. Arrival

“You mean the nightmares didn’t stop already?” Katie asked me as we walked down the hallway.

“Yeah.” I nodded my head. “It has happened three straight nights now,” I added, exhaling deeply.

For the past two months, I’ve been haunted by the same recurring nightmare. Each time, a bizarre creature appears, a horrific mix of a werewolf and something else entirely indescribable.

I always jerk out of my sleep and back to reality whenever it appears in my dream. The first night it happened about two months ago, I didn't think too much about it. I just assumed it was a normal nightmare.

It kept happening at intervals, but recently, it happened three nights in a row, and I became worried. It clearly had a meaning and I couldn’t figure out what the meaning was.

“Can’t you describe the creature so we can figure out what it is?” Katie asked and my lips curled into a frown.

“You’ve asked multiple times and I’ve answered multiple times. I can’t describe it.” I said in frustration and
