Chapter 21 The Meeting

The pack meeting was set to last ten days. Ten grueling days of endless tasks, and as a servant, my role was clear. I would be serving drinks from dawn until dusk. The schedule for the event was packed. The only breaks in the routine were the opening ceremony on the first day and the closing ceremony on the last.

In between, the pack would engage in competitions and various activities, all of which drew the attendance of Alphas, their warriors, and even the Lunas.

I didn’t have a compilation lineup, but my days were filled with the monotonous task of refilling glasses and making sure no one was left thirsty. The opening ceremony was held in the largest tent, a grand and imposing structure that could easily fit the entire pack and then some. As the ceremony approached, I could feel the nervous energy in the air.

Jasper, our Alpha, was visibly tense. I had known him long enough to recognize the signs of his anxiety. Wanting to help, I handed him a big glass filled to the brim
