Story of Her Wolf

It was nine o’clock when the front door opened and Scott stepped inside. Ciara ran to greet him from the living room. She stood in the hall and her face beams when their eyes met.

“You’re home!” she greeted, with her passionate innocence.

For a split second, Scott was stunned. Thoughts preoccupied him on the way home, and he was used to silence and solitude every time he set foot in the house. Seeing someone greet him took him by surprise and he thought it would annoy him.

But no, he actually felt something else. Seeing Ciara actually made all his anxiety disappear.

The nervousness on her face made her look adorable, and he wanted to tease her a little.

“Waiting for me?” he asked, arching one eyebrow. His lips twitched from holding back a smile.

“You’re home so late,” she mumbled. “I waited for you to think you would never come back again.”

That’s it. He couldn’t hold back his smile anymore. She looked so freaking cute and he felt the urge to hug her.

“Guess what?”

“What?”

“You’re in.
