6-Triplets Play a Losing Game

Third Person

The next morning, all three triplets are standing outside Ariella’s door with flowers and scripted apologizes.

When they hear the door start to unlock, they kneel down in front of her door.

Ariella jumps back at the sight and Kale catches her.

“We screwed up,” Anderson starts.

“You were right the pain is too much,” Carter continues in a robotic voice.

“Please, forgive us,” Finley pleads.

They all three hold up their flowers.

Juliet- I can’t hear their wolves anymore but I'm not buying this.

Ariella- I thought you were going to heal.

Juliet- I did. The magic of our Warlock fixed all the broken pieces inside of me.

Ariella- So, sex fixed you?

Juliet- Okay, the sex was nice, but he healed me.

Ariella- I read Anderson and Carter as this is forced because they hurt too much. Finley really seems sorry.

Juliet- Finley was the one who didn’t want to reject us.

Ariella- I can’t keep Kale if I give them a chance.

Juliet- Stab me in the heart.

“Finley, I'm sorry, but they don't mean it. And I will not allow anyone to mess with my emotions. The rejections stand,” Ariella pulls Kale past the triplets.

“You know she is just using you to hurt us,” Carter yells after them.

Kale smirks and winks at Ariella.

“Yeah, I know, and I don’t care,” Kale puts his arm around Ariella’s waist, sliding his hand into her back pocket.

“She belongs to us,” Anderson says, running after them and forcing his way into the elevator holding it for his brothers. “The moon goddess said so.”

“I’m a Pan man myself,” Kale stands tall. “And I don't usually ask for anything, but I’m going to start praying for her second chance.”

Ariella snaps her head to look at Kale.

“I just pray it's me. You three have no idea what you gave up,” Kale pushes past the triplets holding Ariella as they exit the elevator.

“Thank you for that,” Ariella tells Kale.

“I meant every word,” Kale kisses her head.

“Missed you guys last night,” Andrea teases as they join the group in the library.

“Sorry,” Ariella tries to look innocent.

“Don’t even bother with the innocent face, I can smell what you two have been up to,” Andrea laughs.

Ariella breaths deeply.

“Jacob, did you enjoy your night with a werewolf?” Ariella asks.

Jacob smirks.

“That scent thing goes both ways now, Babe,” Jacob jokes leaning over and kissing Andrea’s cheek.

Andrea giggles.

“So, what do we have today, folks?” Lewis asks.

“Before we get into that I want you all to know something about Ari,” Kale tells them.

“Kale?” Ari looks at him confused.

“Ari and the Alpha Triplets are at odds. They share a floor and they put a target on her,” Kale squeezes her knee under the table.

“So, are you asking us to watch out for your girl?” Carl smirks.

Kale nods.

“I have wanted to knee one or all of them in the balls,” Melissa smiles.

“Let’s compare schedules so we know who can be with her when,” Andrea pulls out her sheet of paper.

“We got you Boo-boo,” Courtney smiles.

After working together, they all take shifts for summer session to keep Ariella away from the triplets.

During their first class together, Finley takes a seat beside Ariella. Lewis is sitting behind her and watches ready to spell him if needed.

“So, is it just the one Warlock, because last night, wow,” Finley asks her.

“If I didn’t know better, I would claim Kale has a beast. He is amazing,” Ariella smiles, remembering the way Kale entered her four times and again this morning.

Lewis smirks and texts Kale.

Lewis- Ari has a sassy mouth, brother. She might not need us.

Kale- Her mouth is very impressive.

Lewis- Man, I wish you were into sharing.

Kale- Don’t even think about it.

“Can I call you Ari?” Finley asks her.

“Can I call you Fin?” She answers.

“Yes,” he smiles. “Tell me what to do and I will do it. How do I fix this?”

Ariella gives him a very tight smile. “Sorry, but I don’t do redemption. You and your brothers are dead to me. And I will spend every night possible making sure you three regret it.”

“You aren’t cruel, Ari. And Neither are we,” Fin tells her.

Ariella looks at him with disgust.

“Yes, you are, and I am defending myself. My heart can’t take another break,” She stands up and moves to the other side of the room.

When Finley tries to stand up Lewis spells him quickly, so he trips and falls on his face. The room chuckles as he takes his seat again.

Three days later, Ari is cornered by Carter at the coffeehouse. Melissa is there and ready to pounce.

“You know how this ends, right,” Carter whispers in her ear. “It ends with you and us marked, mated, and forever. I get you are pissed. I can forgive that, but don’t burn this bridge. It’s the only chance you are gonna get.”

Melissa taps his shoulder, knees him in the crouch and Ariella leans to his ear.

“When I find my second chance, I’m going to make sure you feel it when I mark him. It’s said to be the worst pain anyone could endure. I really hope you enjoy it.”

“I am so glad I am your friend,” Melissa smiles.

“You enjoyed that a little too much,” Ariella rolls her eyes.

“I may have,” Melissa shrugs.

“This has been so much fun,” Andrea giggles as she, Courtney, Melissa and Ariella get ready to go out a week later.

“WOW,” Melissa says, seeing Ariella’s trash can. “I don’t see how you and Kale walk.”

Ariella blushes. “I’m starting the shot. We can’t keep our hands off each other.”

“Second Chance?” Andrea asks, looking at Ariella in the mirror.

“I wish, but Juliet says no,” Ariella frowns.

“Either way, I would empty this tonight because as hot as you look right now, he is going to fill it up again quick,” Melissa smiles.

“Hey, eyes over here,” Courtney tells her.

“I hope Carl likes this,” Andrea adjusts her boobs.

“Have you three started threesomes yet?” Melissa teases.

“They don’t want to,” Andrea frowns. “They like taking turns.”

Ariella finishes her cat eye make up and checks herself out.

“Who has a key?” Melissa asks, hearing the front door open.

“My Man!” Ariella whispers as she runs from the bathroom to greet Kale at the door.

“My favorite part of the day,” Kale smiles as Ariella wraps her arms around him.

“Mine too,” Ariella whispers in his ear.

“I love you,” Kale whispers.

Ariella pulls away and looks him in the eye.

“Really?” She asks as a dreadlock falls forward on his face.

His eyes are swirling with color as he nods.

“I love you,” Kale repeats, giving her a slight smile.

Ariella smiles and leans in as they kiss.

“I love you too,” Ariella whispers.

“We could cancel our plans,” Kale offers as he kisses her neck.

“We are standing right here,” Melissa yells getting their attention.

Kale laughs and holds the door open so all the ladies can head down.

Anderson gets in the elevator with them all. Ariella stands close to Kale.

When the doors open, Anderson exits first but follows the group to their destination, a club in Syracuse.

“I can spell him,” Lewis offers.

“I can drain him,” Jacob offers.

“Just leave it to me and Kale,” Ariella pulls Kale to the dance floor. “Make love to me.”

“Did you take the shot?” Kale asks, holding her leg.

“Yes,” Ariella whispers.

They begin kissing and grinding into each other. Kale’s hand moves up her thigh.

“Where is your underwear?” He whispers into her ear.

“You said you wanted to make love in public,” Ariella whispers back.

She reaches between them and opens his pants.

There in the middle of the club Ariella and Kale made love and to the world it appeared like dancing.

Anderson falls to his knees as Kale thrusts into Ariella.

“I love you,” Ariella moans as she climaxes.

Anderson growls, but Lewis quickly spells him to freeze.

“I love you,” Kale grips her thigh as he releases inside of her.

Anderson watches as they continue to hold each other and kiss on the dance floor.

When Anderson reaches out to his wolf, Bear, he finds only empty space. He has lost her.
